RULES:
Allowed brands of BB's
On the terrain we only allow Bio-degradable BBs in a natural color. With natural color, we mean colors that do not stick out in nature, for instance:
green, black, beige or brown. White, egg-white or any other bright color is not allowed and strictly forbidden!! Careful: Degradable is not the same is BIO-degradable and by definition also strictly forbidden! Should you get caught playing with BB's that do not match these requirements during the event, you are immediately removed from the event without any refund.
Be Warned: We hold the preservation of nature and wildlife very dear.
FPS limits and safety
On all our events we enforce a certain FPS - Feet per Second - limit for all airsoft replica weapons. These are set to 350 FPS for AEGs. For sniper weapons - bolt action and gas - ( Except the Tokyo Marui PSG-1 and the Real Sword Dragunov ) we enforce a maximum of 500 FPS. Every participant can and must test his or her replica on our FPS test sites, before the game starts. Random tests will be performed during the course of the game by our instructors. When it turns out that an airsoft replica exceeds the set limits, the replica will be taken by the organization until the end of the event.
When you are caught using a replica exceeding 400 FPS, then we assume mal intent and this means that the safety of the other players is being jeopardized. The one caught will be removed from the game without refund.
More information on BB's and FPS limits can be found in our rules and guidelines on the website.
Game progression
Arrivals are at the entrance of the grounds where there will be an ID and payment check. This is also where the disclaimers and the copy of the ID will be handed over to the organization. U will need to have handy the original ID of which the copy was made for comparison. Based on the type of arrangement you booked, you are pointed towards your location and will receive a bracelet with a number for identification.
Saturday morning at 10 a.m. you are expected in the briefing room – with all the gear needed to play for a full day – for a brief security briefing, a run through of the missions for that day and the division of the teams. New players and snipers will be briefed separately for specific briefings.
Participants with the cottage arrangement are asked to hang the keys of their cottage onto the designated panel in the briefing room. During the briefing – which usually does not last longer than 15 to 20 minutes – the organization will check that all cottages are closed and locked.
After the security briefing the teams are taken to their base camps where they will be briefed further by the base-instructors.
From here on all magazines can be placed in the airsoft-replica weapon!
You are requested to bring all that you will need that day to the base camp, such as food, drinks, ammunition, and so on. Eating and resting takes place in the base camps while the game is on. There are no scheduled breaks, so one can be under enemy fire while having lunch. The base camps are not safety zones, therefore your safety gear (glasses, masks) cannot be removed.
Both base camps will have to be guarded at all times. In every base camp an instructor of the organization will be present to provide the missions, answer questions, motivate and coordinate people and to watch over the all-round security. We are very strict in matters of security, but also with all sorts of game spoiling, cheating, foul language of aggressive behavior. ASG works with a so-called penalty system where repercussions may be taken.
Be warned!
Respawn are in the herefor designated areas in the base camp, but a United Nations post in the middle of the field is also available to all for regen.
United Nations Respawn-Zone: Outside the bases of both teams there a respawn zone located in the centre of the field; This is to make sure that players do not have to run all the way back to base camp to respanw on the larger fields. This also enhances fair play on the event! These respawn zones are in turn open to each team for a specific time. One can choose at any time to return to base camp for respawn where respawn is instant.
For example: When you are playing in the blue team and you enter a respawn zone where the blue flag/clock is active, you can go back in straight away.
Are you a red player? Then you will have to wait for 15 minutes until the red flag/clock is active and the respawn is open for the red team. The respawn marshal takes care of the switching of the flags, does the FPS tests and counts points for hit players when it concerns a ****** event. The respawn-zone is recognized by the United Nations flag and the blue helmet marshal in it.
Base Respawn: When you choose to respawn in the base, this can be done in the designated zone. This is per 15 minutes on the skirm clock.
Protect your base! In every base camp hangs the flag of the team, which is hoisted at the beginning of the game. But beware: should the other team succeed in lowering your flag, you lose your base and the entire team will have to respawn at the United Nations respawn zone. At that time, you will have NO access to the base for gear and ammo, neither for food nor drinks. The base-instructor will keep an eye on all gear stored in the base camp. It is of great importance that the base is defended. The team taking over the base, can use this as a respawn zone.
When it turns out that the expelled team cannot retake their base, the organization may decide to return ownership to the expelled team. This is to keep the game fun for everyone and to avoid frustrations. In reality it will be next to impossible to overtake a base, but this rule makes sure that everyone plays the game alert and realistically.
End of game:
The end of the game will be announced with a loud signal and the lowering of the flags in both base camps and all participants can enjoy some rest. All magazines are removed from the replicas and the people with a cottage arrangement can pick up their keys in the briefing room. From that time ALL magazines in replicas are no longer allowed. Should we find you off-game with a magazine still in your replica, you are removed from the event because you are posing a serious to other people present! Pay very close attention!!
You are allowed to barbecue off-game during the event and you can keep wearing your full gear in the village or the camping. It is NOT allowed to access the playing field or the base camps. The organization may decide to play a movie or open the swimming pool, depending on the weather. We do not mind you having a beer but drunkenness is not allowed and will lead to expulsion from the event.
After 24:00 hrs is no longer allowed to sit outside, so people can rest for the next day. Sunday, there will be a short evolutionary briefing after which all will progress as it did on Sunday. Apart from the game scenario’s of course.
Do not forget your disclaimer and the copy of your id!! Without these two you will have no access to our event!
Please read the rules and regulations carefully! This prevents misunderstandings!
